Since our charter on December 3, 1935 , American Legion Post 39 has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Located in historic downtown Gilbert, Arizona, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community.  Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families.
Groundbreaking for American Legion Post 39, located in historic downtown Gilbert, AZ, took place on February 8, 1950



SPECIAL NOTICE:  The City of Gilbert is doing a Special Welcome Home Ceremony for WW II Vets.September 29th.  They ask that all WW II Vets contact Lisa Rigler as soon as possible to be included in the Ceremony (Letter of Inventation)
